The Capitis Set is a comprehensive training tool designed to simulate real clinical work in the oral cavity. It combines the Mirror Tool for training indirect vision with the Handpiece Tool, which provides a realistic grip similar to a dental handpiece.
By simply inserting a pencil into the Handpiece Tool, you achieve a grip that closely resembles that of a real dental drill. This allows you to learn proper instrument handling and develop a natural grip before working on a patient. The adapter opening is designed so that the pencil is angled in the same way as the working tip of a dental handpiece in the patient’s mouth, ensuring that hand movements correspond to real clinical situations.
The Mirror Tool is used to train orientation in a mirrored image and indirect vision. It teaches you to work without direct visual control, exactly as required during treatment in the limited visual field of the oral cavity.
The set includes four basic training templates, allowing you to start training immediately and practice a variety of tasks.
By combining both tools, the Capitis Set creates a complete training system that simultaneously develops indirect vision, hand stability, movement precision, and proper ergonomic habits. Training with the Capitis Set closely replicates real clinical work with a patient.
